Women’s Resource Center is approved as a permanent Car Seat Fit Station through the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute. We provide training on proper car seat safety and evaluate the proper installation of car seats in the vehicle. We also provide replacement car seats to parents/caregivers who qualify if seats are deemed unsafe. We request that the child be present during inspection, and that appointments are made prior to inspection with the certified CPST.

WRC is proud to partner with the Project Swaddle Community Paramedic Program and the Crawfordsville Fire Department. Project Swaddle is a free para-medical program that wants to target high-risk women and provide them with free medical care. They work with local OBGYNs to provide great prenatal care to reduce infant and maternal mortality.
