Crawfordsville Center

Women’s Resource Center began as a hotline in 1990 by a small group of individuals concerned for women and families in crisis pregnancy situations.  In November of 1991, WRC opened an office in Crawfordsville to offer support services such as baby and maternity clothing and baby furniture to our clients, as well as the ability to provide one-on-one peer counseling.

The goal of Women’s Resource Center is to provide support and practical assistance for women during and after a pregnancy.  All services are free of charge and include the following.

• Pregnancy Testing
• STI/STD Testing
• Ultrasounds
• Baby Items
• Incentive program to enable families to obtain the baby items they need while becoming better parents.
• Accurate and complete information on pregnancy, parenting, adoption, abstinence, and abortion.
• Permanent Fit Station for Car Seats
• Medical and social service referrals
• Post-abortion peer counseling
• Pregnancy Loss and Early Infant Death peer counseling
